These principles aim to identify risks early and prevent accidents by establishing an open and respectful communication culture.

  • The safety dialogue is a key element of nuclear safety culture, supporting both immediate hazard response and preventive risk reduction. It encourages open discussions about safety through four guiding questions: understanding the work situation, identifying hazards, evaluating behavior, and finding improvements. Effective dialogues rely on empathy, adaptability, and a questioning approach, especially when addressing experienced colleagues or leaders. By fostering trust, accountability, and continuous improvement, safety dialogues help minimize risks and strengthen a positive safety culture.

Nuclear Safety Culture

What?

  • A digital course on the learning platform, allowing content to be completed at an individual pace

  • A two-week period to work through the digital content on the learning platform

  • One Live-Call: reflect on and deepen the training content

How?

  • Four time slots are offered, each with one Live-Call date

  • Selection of a time slot with a suitable Live-Call date

  • Redirect to the learning platform for registration

  • The course is activated on the first day of the selected time slot

  • Two weeks are available to complete the content (approx. 2 hours of effort)

  • Afterwards: One Live-Call, for which a separate MS Teams invitation will be sent
